About

I'm Jesús Ávila (Avilx), a third-year Cybersecurity student at Instituto Técnico Superior Especializado (ITSE), Panamá. Enthusiast of reversing, exploit development and malware analysis — focused on understanding how software breaks at the lowest level.

Background

My interest in hacking started at 15, driven by curiosity and self-learning. Over time I built a structured methodology and the discipline to approach every target systematically, documenting everything publicly.

Technical focus

eJPT certified (July 2026), 40+ HTB machines documented. I build my own lab infrastructure — GOAD for Active Directory attack chains and HackCorp, a black-box web lab with chained vulnerabilities. Currently working through stack buffer overflow, SEH exploitation and ROP chains as preparation for OSED.

Goal

Looking for remote opportunities in offensive security where I can contribute from day one. Mid-term goal: OSED certification, then OSEE — and eventually vulnerability research and zero-day development within an international technical team.
